CWC Recruitment 2026 is open for 327 posts, and the last date to apply is 15 November 2026. Central Warehousing Corporation, a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, wants 171 Assistant Managers and 156 Junior Executives.
The good part: any graduate can apply for Junior Executive (General), and any post-graduate for Assistant Manager (General). The tough part: the upper age limit is 28, and final-year students can’t apply.

PwBD and Ex-Servicemen seats are horizontal, meaning they sit inside the numbers above. Each Junior Executive post has 11 seats for Ex-Servicemen. Assistant Manager (Finance) has 1 backlog PwBD seat.
Look at the Electrical and Mechanical rows before you get excited: only 5 and 4 posts. Civil engineers have a better shot with 22.

Three rules people miss:
- No final-year students. You must hold your final mark sheet or certificate by 15 November 2026.
- Articleship doesn’t count as experience for AM (Finance). Only regular jobs count.
- If your university gives CGPA, convert it to a percentage in the form, and keep the university’s conversion rule ready for verification.
Age limit and relaxation
The upper age limit for every post is 28 years, and the minimum is 18. You must be born between 16 November 1998 and 15 November 2008 (both days included).

Even with every relaxation added up, you can’t be over 55. OBC candidates need an NCL certificate issued on or after 1 April 2026, so an old certificate won’t work.
Selection process and exam pattern

For Junior Executive, there is no interview. Your online test marks alone decide selection. For Assistant Manager, the final score is 85% online test + 15% interview (interview is out of 30 marks).
Every paper has 202 questions, 230 marks and 3 hours, with each section timed separately. There is a 1/4 mark penalty for each wrong answer.

Assistant Manager (Technical, Finance, Engineering): Professional Knowledge 60, General Awareness 40, English 40, Reasoning 30, Quant 30, plus descriptive.
Junior Executive (Technical): Subject Knowledge 65, Reasoning 40, Quant 40, General Awareness 20, English 35, plus descriptive.
You must clear the subject knowledge section and the descriptive test with 40% (35% for reserved categories). Don’t skip the descriptive writing practice. It can knock you out even if your objective score is good.

CWC salary 2026 and service conditions

On top of basic pay and IDA, CWC lists CPF, contributory pension, gratuity, LTC, performance-related pay and medical reimbursement for you and your family. The advertisement doesn’t give a monthly in-hand figure, so ignore any exact “in-hand salary” number you see on other sites.
Before you apply, know these conditions:
- Bond: ₹1,00,000 for Assistant Managers and ₹50,000 for Junior Executives, to serve at least 2 years.
- All-India posting. You can be posted anywhere in India, and new joiners must spend some time at field units (warehouses) first.
- Probation applies to every post as per CWC rules.
- Interviews and document verification happen in Delhi, at your own cost.
Exam centres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana
CWC’s tentative list has centres in every state. For Telugu states:
- Andhra Pradesh: Nellore, Guntur/Vijayawada, Kurnool, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Kakinada
- Telangana: Hyderabad, Karimnagar, Warangal
Your centre choice is final, and CWC can move you to a nearby centre if one fills up. The full list is in Annexure I of the advertisement.

How to apply for CWC recruitment 2026
Keep these ready first: a scanned photo (4.5 × 3.5 cm), signature, left thumb impression, a handwritten declaration, and an email ID and mobile number that will stay active till the end of the process.
- Go to cewacor.nic.in and open “Career @CWC (Direct Recruitment)-2026”. You can also read the official advertisement PDF first.
- Click “Click here to apply online for Advertisement No. 2026/01”.
- Choose New Registration, enter your name, mobile and email. Note the provisional registration number and password.
- Fill in your details exactly as on your Class 10 certificate. A spelling mismatch can disqualify you.
- Upload your photo, signature, thumb impression and declaration.
- Use Preview to check everything. Nothing can be changed after “Complete Registration”.
- Pay the fee online and save the e-receipt. No e-receipt means the payment failed, so log in and pay again.
- Print the application form and keep it. Don’t post it to CWC.
You may apply for more than one post, but you can sit the online exam only once per post. If two call letters clash, CWC says to appear for one only.
Should you apply?
Junior Executive (General): yes, if you’re a graduate under 28. It’s a central PSU job with no interview, decent pay, and a syllabus that overlaps almost fully with IBPS and SSC prep. If you’re already preparing for the RRB NTPC Graduate exam or NICL AO, you lose nothing by adding this form.
Assistant Manager (Technical): a strong pick for food tech and agri-engineering graduates. 60 posts is a lot for such a narrow degree, so competition should be lighter than general posts.
Skip it if you can’t move away from home. Early postings are often at warehouses in small towns, and the bond makes leaving within 2 years costly.
Don’t wait for the last week. CWC’s form asks for 4 uploads, and government portals slow down near 15 November. I’ll update this page when CWC announces the exam date and call letters.
